Rev. Robert Blanchard
Pastor Robert is a graduate of Methodist Theological School in Ohio. He graduated in 2018 with a Master’s of Divinity in Biblical Languages and Texts and a Master’s of Theological Studies in Church History. Prior to serving at Lansing First he completed his field education at Asbury UMC in Delaware, OH and then served as the pastor at Clinton UMC in Clinton, MI. His passions in ministry include Bible study, Christian education, and carrying God’s love and justice out of the sanctuary into the community. He has been married to his wife Keri since 2012, and they have one dog named Loki.
Mr. Bill Holda
Bill has been a church organist as well as a featured soloist and accompanist on piano and organ in the Lansing area since 1973. He has been the organist at Lansing First United Methodist church since 2008. Prior to that he was the organist at Christ Community Church (formerly First Baptist) in downtown Lansing. He has accompanied a number of choral groups in the Lansing area including Singers on the Grand, Young at Heart (YAH) singers, Lansing Community College (LCC) Concert Choir and LCC Women’s Chorus. He is retired from LCC. He and his wife, Joan, enjoy spending time with their family, especially their eight grandchildren. He has a heart to praise God and minister to others through music. His favorite scripture is Philippians 4:6-7.
Mrs. Deb Blake
Deb pays all of the bills, does the church payroll, and prints financial reports. Deb has worked at Lansing First since March 2019.
Mr. Joseph Ingraham
Joseph has been a custodian at Lansing First for five years and has worked as a custodian for over twenty-five years in schools and churches. Joseph and his wife Carol have two daughters and they just celebrated forty years of marriage. Joseph also works part time at Northpointe church in Dewitt.
